Farmingdale Presbyterian Church embodies a Spirit of Generosity
Farmingdale Church is committed to Presbyterian Mission Programs, Christian aid organizations and in particular, local hunger ministries. We support local, national and international relief efforts for people caught in natural disaster, conflict and other calamities. Our facilities impart value to the community by providing space for activities such as Kindergarten screenings, home-schooled music and sewing classes, and a designated community disaster relief shelter.
Our commitment to Hunger Ministries
The need for hunger ministry services grows every year. Farmingdale Presbyterian Church is open-hearted about sharing our abundance to nurture communities. Your contributions are multiplied into a mighty gift, and we celebrate provision of more than ten thousand pounds of food for the shelves of local food banks each year. Thank you for generous support of this nourishing program that extends a hand of friendship and love into people’s home.
Here’s how to help
Helping Hands of Pleasant Plains and Kumler Outreach Ministries are two main food banks we collect for on a regular basis. During worship service, an announcement may be made regarding items of need that are being collecting at the time. Bring donated items with you to Sunday Church service and place in the designated box or deliver them during office hours. Items are delivered to the agencies on a regular schedule.
